● Duration: 6 hours (6.5 hours on Wednesdays)
● Length: 27 km (17 miles), 60% off-road
● Elevation: 200 meters
● Difficulty level: Intermediate
● With guided visit of the Catacombs of St. Callixtus or St. Sebastian
● Electric bikes are available for children from 9 years old and with a height over 140 cm
● From 2026, children aged 5 to 8 who measure less than 140 cm and weigh more than 22 kg can participate accompanied by an adult using a child extension. Infants from 12 months old and weighing less than 22 kg can travel in a child seat
● Approximately 40% of this tour takes place inside the city. We ride on carefully selected streets, but some traffic is unavoidable to connect the Ancient Appian Way Park with the Aqueducts Park. On the remaining 60% of the route (in the parks) there is no traffic
● On Wednesdays (all year) the Appia Plus morning tour lasts 6.5 hours. In addition, the tour may also last up to 6.5 hours every day during the period: January 15th - February 10th, 2026
● On Easter Sunday (April 5th, 2026), the Catacombs are closed. Therefore, the Appian Way tour will NOT operate on that day
● In case of celebrations and official or public events in Rome city center, the route may change and some of the highlights may be replaced
