Pedal on the Ancient Appian Way, a 2300 year-old cobblestone Roman road while going past an ancient sepulchre, a Roman statue, the ruins of a circus and an imperial palace, the Christian catacombs and pagan mausoleums; then leave the Ancient Appian Way to head towards the ancient Roman aqueducts rising over the fields on the horizon and follow them on their way back to Rome. Enjoy a ride through the Roman countryside that so well impressed 19th century travellers such as Byron, Goethe and Stendhal.

● Be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour departure time
● Duration: 4 hours
● Length: 27 km (17 miles), 60% off-road
● Elevation: 200 mt
● Difficulty level: Intermediate
● E-bikes are available for children aged 9 and above and taller than 140 cm
● From 2026, children aged 5 to 8 who are under 140 cm tall and weigh more than 22 kg may participate accompanied by an adult using a child extension. Infants from 12 months and weighing less than 22 kg may travel in a child seat
● Approximately 40% of this tour takes place in the city. We ride along carefully selected city streets, but some traffic is unavoidable to connect the Ancient Appian Way Park with the Aqueducts Park. In the remaining 60% of the route (riding in the parks) there is no traffic
● In case of official celebrations or public events in the city center of Rome, the route may change and some of the highlights may be replaced
