View Rome from 136 meters (440 feet) high at St. Peter's Basilica and Dome with an audio guide. Situated in Vatican City, St. Peter's Basilica is a place of great religious and architectural significance.
Commissioned by Pope Julius II in the 16th century, it stands on the believed burial site of St. Peter, a key disciple of Jesus Christ. Start by climbing the dome to see interior mosaics up close as your audio guide shares the church's history. Take in 360º views of St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Gardens. See the Colosseum, Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo, and other famous structures from afar.
After coming down from the dome, admire Michelangelo's Pietà, Bernini's Baldachin, and the resting places of St. Peter and other popes. With a digital map and 27 listening points, your audio tour highlights the basilica's main attractions.
