Full description
Book a 1.5-hour chocolate making class in Brussels. Learn about organic cacao farming with a certified Belgian artisan, taste raw cacao beans and cacao mass, and handcraft your own truffles, mendiants, and custom chocolate bar to take home.
Embark on this 1.5-hour shared chocolate making experience in Brussels alongside a certified master Belgian chocolate artisan. The session begins with insights into sustainable cacao production, covering the journey from organic smallholder plantations in Grand Anse (Haiti) through the fermentation and drying process. Throughout the workshop, participants will taste raw cacao beans and cacao liquor mass while learning about traditional techniques. Guided by the chocolate maker, guests will handcraft their own confectionery items, including chocolate truffles, mendiants (chocolate disks topped with nuts and dried fruits), and a personalized chocolate bar to take home at the end of the activity.
