Bird Watching at Dawn in Mistico Arenal Park - Optional Pick-up

● Option with Transfer: Please provide all your accommodation details at the time of booking. It is very important to note that, in this case, it is the passenger's sole responsibility to contact the local provider at the number shown on the voucher one day before the service to confirm the exact pick-up point and time if they have not received any communication
● Option with Transfer: Please be at the pick-up point 15 minutes before the tour begins. If clients are not at the hotel reception or lobby at the indicated time, the driver is authorized to wait 5 minutes. If clients do not appear during the waiting time, it will be considered a "No Show" and will incur a 100% penalty of the service fee
● Option with Transfer: The client will be picked up at the hotel or the location designated at the time of booking and dropped off at the same location. Any request for a different return location will be subject to availability and additional costs, according to our internal policies
● Option with transfers: Hotel pick-up begins between 30 and 45 minutes before the scheduled time, depending on the season. Children and infants pay the full regular fare
● We recommend arriving at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour start time. This will allow us to begin promptly and make the most of the available time. If you arrive late but still within the first 5 to 10 minutes of the tour's start, we will do our best to accommodate you without affecting the itinerary. However, please note that in some cases this may not be feasible for certain activities, and they may have to be omitted
● Significant Delay: If you arrive more than 10 to 15 minutes after the tour's start time, we will do our best to accommodate you if you are nearby. Otherwise, you will have two options: wait for the next available tour time or take the self-guided tour. For those with a support guide service who are more than one hour late from their initial reservation time, you will only have the option of one hour of support guide service. If the group arrives more than one hour late, the guide will be released, and no refund or compensation will be issued for any portion of the tour missed due to the delay
● Groups larger than 10 people must be accompanied by a guide, either from an agency or by paying for the support guide service provided by Mistico Park. The maximum group size is 15 people per guide
● It is not recommended to enter the trail with open footwear such as sandals, only with fully closed footwear that covers the entire foot
● Pets are not allowed in the reserve due to the fragility of the ecosystem and to protect the species. Please inform our staff beforehand of your pet requirement and allow us to offer alternatives if any of the visitors are traveling with a medical assistance dog
● It is recommended to use insect repellent and sunscreen before starting the visit; a waterproof jacket in case of unexpected rain; binoculars to better appreciate the wildlife and panoramic views; bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, a camera and a light backpack to comfortably carry essentials; a flashlight or headlamp for night tours (although the guides carry lights); breathable, quick-drying clothing and long sleeves
● To ensure a safe and environmentally friendly experience, it is essential to always stay on the designated trails to protect natural spaces and avoid disturbing the habitat of local wildlife
● IMPORTANT - Minimum age – 10 years
● The rates for tours, activities, and group transportation services have a minimum operating requirement of 2 passengers
