In this Experience we will visit Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas, incredible cities in southern Chile. We will get to know its architectural heritage and its mixture of cultures, as well as enjoying its wonderful landscapes.
We will start our tour from your hotel to visit these two beautiful cities, first heading to the highest point of Puerto Montt to get a panoramic view of the city, the Pacific Ocean and the nearby islands.
We will then go to the Monument to the German Settlers located in front of the Plaza de Armas and we will visit its Cathedral, continuing later towards the Angelmó sector, a place famous for its large number of craft shops and we will visit the Caleta de Pescadores and the Municipal Market. There we will be able to see the daily activity of the seafarers who arrive there to market shellfish, fish and agricultural products, in addition to meeting the typical kitchens in which the characteristic dishes of this area are prepared.
We will continue our tour heading towards Puerto Varas (also called the City of Roses), famous for its architecture and German influence and we will learn about its history, then bordering Lake Llanquihue and enjoying impressive views of the Osorno Volcano. Finally, we will return to the hotel in Puerto Varas.
