Come with us to the south of Ireland to discover some of the most spectacular places this wonderful island has to offer. We'll visit the impressive Cahir Castle, the picturesque city of Cork, and the renowned medieval complex of the Rock of Cashel. These are three truly recommended stops during your visit to Ireland.
First stop: Cahir Castle. Located on a rocky island in the River Suir, it's one of the best-preserved castles in all of Ireland. It retains its impressive keep and original defensive wall. (Entrance included).
Next, a visit to the charming city of Cork, situated between two river channels. It has a village-like feel thanks to its cozy atmosphere and compact size. The city centre can easily be explored on foot, and over about 2 hours you can enjoy its picturesque little streets and bridges, and the stalls of the bustling English Market. Be amazed by the beautiful bell towers of St Finbarr's Cathedral, and you might even get to ring the bells of the more than 300-year-old tower of St Anne's Church.
On the way back to Dublin, we'll visit one of Ireland's most iconic sites: the Rock of Cashel. A spectacular complex of medieval buildings set on a huge rock. It includes a round tower, the traditional Irish Celtic Cross, and a Gothic cathedral. (Entrance included).
We return to Dublin around 19:30 to 20:00, where you can look back on this spectacular tour over a good pint at one of its many traditional pubs.
