Depending on the selected travel date, the itinerary varies:
For travel dates up to 31 October 2026, the experience begins with a comfortable journey from Rome to the Campania region, passing through some of the most spectacular scenery in southern Italy. Along the way, you will enjoy panoramic views of the famous Amalfi Coast, renowned for its dramatic cliffs, picturesque seaside villages and Mediterranean landscapes.
Your first stop will be Sorrento, an elegant town perched on cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples. You will have free time to stroll through its streets, browse local artisan shops and explore this charming coastal destination. You will also take part in a limoncello tasting, one of the region's most famous products.
You will then continue to Pompeii, where you will have free time to explore independently one of Italy's most important archaeological sites. Walk along its ancient streets, admire the remains of houses, temples and public buildings, and discover what daily life was like in this Roman city before it was buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
For travel dates from 2 November 2026 onwards, the excursion focuses exclusively on Pompeii. After departing Rome, you will travel directly to the archaeological site, where you will have time to explore at your own pace its remarkably preserved streets, houses, frescoes and monuments that reveal the historical significance of this extraordinary Roman city preserved by volcanic ash.
At the end of the visit, you will return to Rome after a day dedicated to history, culture and the discovery of one of Italy's most fascinating destinations.
