Doka Poás Half Day: the first stop is the Doka Coffee Estate, where you'll enjoy breakfast and a tour of a real coffee plantation, discovering the ancient techniques used by experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and around the world, illustrating hands-on the process of cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the golden bean before savouring the product. The tour continues to Poás Volcano, where there's a noticeable change in temperature and vegetation typical of the cloud forest, among coffee plantations, ferns, flowers and strawberry crops. There, you'll admire the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, hike to the crater viewpoint and visit Botos Lagoon, learning about the park's different ecosystems. This experience lasts approximately 8 hours.
Combo Tour Poás Volcano National Park / Doka Coffee Tour / La Paz Waterfall Gardens: in addition to the Doka Coffee Estate and Poás Volcano, the combo tour continues to La Paz Waterfall Gardens for lunch and a nature experience, where a trail leads to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the forest, along with the hummingbird gallery, serpentarium, aviary and frog exhibit inside the park. This experience lasts approximately 12 hours and 30 minutes.
