You will take a day trip to the Surin Islands from Phuket, an experience designed to discover one of Thailand’s best settings for snorkeling. Throughout the tour, you will navigate toward a group of islands known for their crystal-clear waters, shallow coral reefs, white-sand beaches, and great natural richness both marine and terrestrial.
The Surin Islands Marine Park stands out for its biodiversity and the beauty of its protected landscapes. During the day, you will be able to get closer to this natural environment through different snorkeling stops in areas such as Ao Mae Yai, Chong Kad Bay, or Suthep Bay, where the reefs and marine life offer an accessible experience both for beginners and for people with more experience.
The excursion will also include a visit to a Moken village, a people traditionally linked to marine nomadic life and the Mergui Archipelago. During the walk through the village, you will learn about part of their lifestyle, their history, and their relationship with the sea, discovering a community that has established its home in Surin Tai and preserves a very particular cultural identity.
In addition to the cultural component, you will enjoy time to relax on Chong Khad Beach, rest by the sea, and contemplate the tropical landscape of the islands. The experience will include a Thai buffet lunch at the National Park restaurant, surrounded by the natural beauty of this island setting.
After lunch, you will make a second snorkeling stop to continue exploring the reefs and observe the diversity of species that inhabit these waters. At the end of the day, you will return to the pier and the transfer back to your hotel will be arranged, closing an excursion that will combine snorkeling, Moken culture, peaceful beaches, and the protected nature of the Surin Islands.
