Experience an unforgettable marine adventure snorkeling with sea lions in Patagonian waters. Departing by boat from the coast of Puerto Madryn at a time coordinated according to tides and weather conditions, you will sail south toward the protected natural area of the Punta Loma sea lion rookery. Once there, you will enter the sea to share the aquatic environment with these fascinating marine mammals, whose pups and females often curiously approach to swim and interact around visitors, before returning to the coast to enjoy a hot infusion and a snack.
The experience includes all necessary standard equipment, consisting of a neoprene wetsuit, mask, snorkel tube, and fins, with the optional possibility of renting a drysuit at the destination at an additional cost, ideal during winter or for those requiring greater thermal insulation. Knowing how to swim is not required thanks to the suit's buoyancy, although this is a moderate-difficulty activity requiring sufficient physical mobility in the water, suitable exclusively for participants aged seven to sixty-five, with mandatory adult supervision for minors.
Please note that the service does not include hotel pickup, so you must go directly to the meeting point located on the coast of Puerto Madryn bringing a towel, swimwear or underwear, and a change of clothes. Furthermore, since the sea lions live in complete freedom in their natural habitat, sightings and interaction depend on nature and are not guaranteed.

● The exact activity time is coordinated according to tide levels and weather conditions; as it takes place in a protected natural area, the maximum permitted time in the sea is between 45 and 50 minutes
● Please dress according to the weather conditions. The use of comfortable clothing and shoes is recommended, and it is essential to bring a towel and a dry change of clothes for after the activity, as well as swimwear or underwear to wear underneath the neoprene wetsuit
● Age restrictions: the recommended minimum age to participate is 7 years old and the maximum age is between 60 and 65 years old; all children must be accompanied by an adult
● Technical and physical requirements: moderate difficulty activity; knowing how to swim is not required thanks to the buoyancy of the neoprene suit, but passengers must be able to move on their own in the water while wearing the diving suit for at least 40 minutes
● Equipment and optional rental: the rate includes a neoprene wetsuit, fins, snorkel tube, and mask; there is an optional possibility to rent a drysuit at the destination (not included in the service), especially recommended in winter or for people who have difficulty acclimatizing to water temperatures
● The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic, city events, road closures, or high visitor numbers
● Please note that sea lions are in their natural habitat in a state of freedom; although pups and females often approach to swim and interact, sightings depend on natural factors beyond our control and are not always guaranteed
