Explore the Mutianyu Great Wall on a guided hiking tour, ascending by cable car and discovering historic watchtowers along original pathways from the city center.
The experience begins with a comfortable bus ride from a central meeting point. During the drive, an expert guide introduces the history of the Great Wall and shares practical tips to prepare guests for the upcoming hike.
The route continues at the Mutianyu section, taking a scenic cable car ride up to Watchtower #14. From there, participants embark on a guided trek to the summit at Watchtower #20, taking in sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
The hike proceeds along ancient stone pathways from Watchtower #20 down to Watchtower #6, allowing visitors to appreciate each historical structure. Upon reaching Tower #6, guests can choose to walk down the steps or take an optional toboggan ride before returning to the original departure point.

● Please arrive at the meeting point 20 minutes before the tour departure time
● Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended depending on weather conditions. Please note that temperatures are usually colder at higher altitudes
● This hike is physically demanding and may not be suitable for everyone. Please do not book if you have knee, joint, heart, or breathing problems, are not physically active on a regular basis, or are over 70 and not in good physical shape. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 6 years old
● Upon reaching tower #6, you can choose between walking down the steps or taking the toboggan (at an additional cost)
● To arrive and board the bus: take Metro Line 2, Line 13, or the Airport Express to Dongzhimen Station, Exit B1. Once you arrive, look for the staff wearing red vests
● The drop-off point is near Dongzhimen Metro Station
● We are not responsible for any valuables left on the bus
