Named after the river that surrounds it, Krka National Park is one of the most beautiful in Croatia, a natural and karst phenomenon with seven waterfalls and a total drop in altitude of 242 metres. Its top attractions are the well-known Skradinski Buk falls, one of Croatia's most famous sights, and the small island of Visovac, which can be reached via an optional boat tour, at an additional cost, to get to know this enchanting nature more closely. For lovers of swimming, it's also possible to take a dip in some parts of the park.
This is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy peace, untouched nature and amazing scenery. While exploring the park, it's worth following the educational trails, which reveal Krka's cultural and historical heritage, as well as its flora and fauna, while admiring some of its archaeological and ethnological monuments. Wooden bridges and paths guide visitors to some of the park's best viewpoints.
