Our local guides will lead you on a path where history, art, and peasant culture come together to best evoke the roots that have animated this land for millennia. Enjoying the view of the vineyards is just one of the ways to get to know this area.
Tuscany is also the home of fine oils: a blend of ancient olive varieties. The extra virgin olive oil from the Chianti region comes from the skilled combination of more than 120 native olive tree varieties. From a difficult land, peasant art has been able to extract the finest oil fruit, capable of transmitting olfactory sensations and an incomparable taste. Touch to understand, savor to discover. This is the drive that fuels the precious moments of the Chianti tour.
Visit the cellars of the most renowned wines, taste the top products of local farms, and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere that this corner of Tuscany offers. In the first cellar, you will try 4 different types of wine to understand in detail the differences in taste and texture between different bottles. Also, enjoy a selection of salami and a tasting of 3 extra virgin olive oils and 2 balsamic vinegars, paired with bread. In the second cellar, you will try 3 different types of wine, their home-produced olive oil, and Tuscan bread. End the day with a walk through Castellina in Chianti, breathing in the village air and exploring its typical shops.
