We will depart from New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania until we reach the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. Upon arrival in the historic area of Philadelphia we will visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the most emblematic symbols of freedom in America. the National Park of Independence and the Hall of Congress. We will walk through Elfreth's Alley, the oldest inhabited street in America. We will continue to tour the financial center, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the historic district of Philadelphia and more. Before leaving Philadelphia we will see the famous "Rocky's Steps".
We will continue to Lancaster County, the home of the Ahmish. After lunch at the Amish market you will be able to buy handmade souvenirs, we will also take a ride in an authentic Amish buggy to learn how this community has managed to survive for decades without technology, electricity, sewerage and without many other services that modernized society takes for granted. seated. We will learn how the Amish community has adapted by incorporating technology to create self-sufficient farms and using renewable energy sources.
