Discover the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Dunguaire Castle and Aillwee Cave on an excursion from Galway, with entrance to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, luxury transport and pick-up at selected hotels.
This tour invites you to discover the wild west of Ireland along the famous Wild Atlantic Way. The route begins with a photo stop at Dunguaire Castle, a 16th-century tower house on the shores of Galway Bay that evokes the history of the ancient kings of Connacht. Once in County Clare, the tour continues through the lunar landscape of The Burren, a vast limestone expanse unique in the world for its biodiversity and geological formations.
The highlight of the day is the Cliffs of Moher, where you will have 90 minutes to walk the trails and admire the views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands. Along the way, the tour visits the picturesque village of Doolin, the capital of traditional music, and you will have the chance to visit Aillwee Cave, in the heart of the Burren. The return to Galway takes the coastal route, passing the historic Blackhead Lighthouse and offering spectacular views of the limestone coastline.
