You will discover the most picturesque side of Alsace on a full-day excursion from Colmar, combining medieval villages, vineyard landscapes, and a visit to one of the region’s most emblematic castles. Throughout the tour, you will move through cobbled streets and rural panoramas, with stops designed to appreciate the local charm and gain a better understanding of the area’s history.
The first stop will be Eguisheim, where you will stroll through narrow lanes and admire half-timbered houses with colorful façades that preserve their medieval atmosphere. Afterwards, you will continue to Kaysersberg to take in its traditional architecture, fortified bridge, and the historic character of a village that blends naturally into the Alsatian landscape.
Later on, you will arrive in Riquewihr, known for its medieval appearance and local life. There, you will have free time to explore the village and pause for lunch, keeping in mind that lunch will not be included and will be at your own expense. After this stop, you will visit a local vineyard to discover the wines of Alsace, learn about aspects of the production process, and take part in a tasting that will allow you to identify aromas and characteristic nuances of the region.
