This excursion takes you to Hillerød to discover Frederiksborg Palace, considered one of the most beautiful and interesting castles in Denmark and nicknamed the "Versailles of Denmark" for its magnificence. It departs from Copenhagen Central Station, with a local Spanish-speaking guide.
The route begins with a walk through the baroque gardens, with their fountains, sculptures and the lake surrounding the palace, while the guide tells the history of the place and of the Danish monarchy. Those who add the entrance ticket as a supplement when booking continue inside, where the National History Museum (Det Nationalhistoriske Museum) is housed, with portraits, works of art and historical objects, as well as the castle church and its 1610 Compenius organ.
Transport to and from Hillerød is not included, and the entrance ticket to the palace is optional. An ideal experience for those who want to learn about Danish history through one of its most emblematic palaces.
