Our trip to Aracena will start in Seville, where our guide will pick you up at the meeting point of your choice to reach our destination with our private transport. It is precisely in this village, located in the northeast of the province of Huelva, where we will make our first stop. We will stroll through the streets of Aracena until we reach the entrance of the Cueva de las Maravillas (Cave of Wonders). A natural cave that impresses many people and in which geological formations such as stalactites and stalagmites stand out. We will continue our route through the Dehesa de Sierra Morena. The Dehesa de Sierra Morena is a natural environment with holm oaks and cork oaks where the Iberian pig, also known as the acorn-fed pig, thrives. The pigs feed on acorns and other products from these trees. In this region there is a great gastronomic tradition of Iberian ham. We will enjoy the landscape that this biosphere reserve offers us, making several stops at emblematic places such as the mosque of Almonaster la Real, the Medieval Castle of Aracena or the Peña de Arias Montano. Dehesa de Huelva produces a wide variety of Iberian hams, including: Serrano ham, acorn-fed Iberian ham and ham ham. So we will have the opportunity to enjoy the typical gastronomy and taste the star dish of the Dehesa de Huelva: the famous Iberian ham. During the excursion, we will also visit the village of Rio Tinto, known for its mines and the characteristic reddish colour of the water of the river Tinto. An environment that seems to come from another galaxy, as if it was the moon or Mars, where NASA performs multiple tests due to its extreme conditions.
