Discover two of the most remarkable temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park on this private half-day tour from Siem Reap. Accompanied by an official guide, you will visit the spectacular Banteay Srei Temple and the majestic Preah Khan complex, two essential landmarks for understanding the history and splendour of the ancient Khmer Empire.
After being picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap, depending on the selected departure, you will travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park. If you do not already have your entrance ticket, you will make a brief stop at the ticket office before beginning the tour.
Your first stop will be Banteay Srei, located around 30 kilometres northeast of Angkor. Known as the "Citadel of Women", this small 10th-century temple is famous for its pink sandstone construction and for displaying some of the finest and best-preserved carvings in Cambodia.
You will then continue to Preah Khan, one of the largest monumental complexes within Angkor. Built by King Jayavarman VII following his victory over the Cham Kingdom, this magnificent temple features galleries, courtyards, sanctuaries and passageways partially reclaimed by nature, creating one of the most atmospheric settings in the archaeological park.
At the end of the visit, you will comfortably return to your hotel in Siem Reap.
