Discover an authentic side of São Paulo with our visit to Favela Paraisopolis. Immerse yourself in the culture of this vibrant community while enjoying delicious Brazilian feijoada and live samba at the charming "Bistrô Mãos de Maria", located on the rooftop of the community association in the middle of the favela.
Before lunch and samba, we will take you on a 3-hour guided tour to experience life in a real favela. Tour São Paulo's second largest favela and immerse yourself in its unique culture, gaining a unique insight into the vibrant spirit of its people, especially the hidden and authentic artists who live there.
Our itinerary is on foot and includes stops at emblematic places such as the Stone House of Estevão, famous as the Gaudí of Paraisópolis, and the Berbela, who creates sculptures from motorbike parts and other materials that would be discarded.

We will pick you up at the meeting point to enjoy this typical experience. Ready to enjoy feijoada while listening to Brazilian music? We'll head to Paraisópolis - welcome to the second largest favela in São Paulo! Once there, we will take a three-hour guided tour through the narrow streets of the neighbourhood. We will learn about life in the favela, its culture, traditions and the spirit of its residents.
We will pass by one of the most curious places in the area, the Estevão Stone House. Known as the Gaudí of Paraisópolis, this man creates sculptures from motorbike parts or other materials that would otherwise be discarded. Curious, isn't it?
Time to recharge your batteries! After wandering the streets of the neighbourhood, we will arrive at the Bistrô Mãos de Maria. This charming establishment is located on the terrace of a community association in the favela. There you can enjoy a delicious feijoada, a typical Brazilian dish. While enjoying lunch, you can also enjoy the best live samba, and if you feel like dancing, it will be a unique experience! After six hours exploring the most authentic environment of São Paulo, we will take you back to your hotel.
