You will take a half-day cruise through the Venetian Lagoon to discover three of its most emblematic islands: Murano, Burano, and Torcello. Throughout the experience, you will sail through a setting of great beauty, where views of Venice, its palaces, its canals, and lagoon life will accompany a tour dedicated to tradition, craftsmanship, and the city’s oldest history.
The first stop will be Murano, an island recognized worldwide for its glass art. There, you will visit an active glass furnace and observe how master artisans work molten glass to transform it into delicate pieces, keeping alive a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. Afterwards, you will have time to stroll through its quiet streets and discover its artisanal boutiques.
Next, you will sail toward Burano, one of the most colorful and photographed islands in the lagoon. Its brightly colored houses, reflected in the canals, create a particularly picturesque landscape. During your free time, you will be able to walk through its streets, take photographs, visit shops with handmade lace, or enjoy the local atmosphere by the canal.
The experience will continue in Torcello, the oldest continuously inhabited island in the lagoon and a place marked by a serene and almost mystical atmosphere. There, you will be able to get closer to the origins of Venice, visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, known for its Byzantine mosaics, and explore a setting of stone bridges, silent canals, and historic landscapes away from the bustle of the city.
During the tour, you will also be able to use a mobile app with complementary information about the three islands, designed to enrich the self-guided visit with facts, curiosities, and highlighted corners. At the end, you will take away a more complete view of the Venetian Lagoon, combining panoramic navigation, artisanal tradition, colorful villages, and the historical legacy of its most representative islands.
