Hop aboard our bright red open-top bus and get to know Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, along with its larger-than-life locals. With a comfortable, hop-on hop-off service, you'll be able to appreciate exceptional architecture, experience the vibrant cultural scene and settle in for a "wee dram" (a shot of whisky) in one of the city's many welcoming pubs.
The route leads to historic George Square, home to the swanky City Chambers, and on to Glasgow Cathedral, dating all the way back to the 12th century. Known as one of the world's friendliest cities, Glasgow invites you to visit the lively Barras market, a real local institution, as well as the busy shopping streets near Argyle Street.
Another of the city's great strengths is its thriving music scene, which you can learn about through the onboard multilingual commentary, with a stop by the River Clyde at the SEC, affectionately known as the Armadillo for its sleek, modern design. The route continues to the wonderful West End, where you can photograph the gothic spires of the University of Glasgow and explore its historic campus, set on a hill with fantastic views over the city.
Glasgow, whose name translates as "the dear green place," is home to many open green spaces, among which Kelvingrove Park stands out, right next to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. The route also offers 360º panoramic views of Glasgow and its surroundings.

● Operational season: the Red Route runs all year round, except on 25 and 26 December and 1 and 2 January
● Red Tour: schedule 09:00 - 17:30, loop duration 90 minutes, frequency every 15 minutes
● Live guides are available from April to September on the Red Route, with the first tour departing at 09:30 and running every hour until 15:30
● Please note that the 1-day ticket is valid for the duration of one calendar day and is not based on when you hop on; it is valid from the time service begins until the time service ends on the day of use
● Our buses are wheelchair accessible, with space for one wheelchair measuring up to 70 cm wide, 120 cm long and 135 cm high
● Dogs in carriers are permitted on the bus
● Mobile and paper vouchers are both accepted for this tour
● Wherever possible, bus stops will have some sort of signage; however, the vast majority of bus stops do not have visible signage due to traffic regulations. Where stops are signposted, the size of the sign will vary from one tour to another
