This walking tour follows in the footsteps of some of Ireland's most important writers, including Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, George Bernard Shaw, Bram Stoker and Sheridan Le Fanu, revealing their connection to the city that shaped or inspired their work.
The route winds through Dublin's elegant Georgian quarter, passing Merrion Square, one of the city's finest Georgian squares, the facade of the National Gallery of Ireland, the Oscar Wilde statue, former homes linked to Le Fanu, W. B. Yeats and Bram Stoker, Kildare Street and the area around Trinity College.
Since the tour runs in small groups, the experience stays intimate, allowing the guide to go deeper into little-known literary and historical stories about these authors and their ties to Dublin.
