This guided walking tour offers a chance to discover Edinburgh in the heart of the Christmas season, combining the festive atmosphere of the city centre with the history and traditions surrounding this celebration in Scotland. Throughout the tour, you will learn about the origins of Christmas and the customs Scots still keep today.

The tour starts on the Royal Mile, in the heart of the Old Town, and heads towards the New Town. Along the way, it passes the city's great Christmas tree on The Mound, the ice rink, the Castle Street market and Rose Street with its Christmas lights. The tour ends at Edinburgh's main Christmas market, in East Princes Street Gardens, with a tasting of a traditional gingerbread biscuit.
