Explore central Dublin with a local guide, from Temple Bar to St Patrick's Cathedral, passing Trinity College, Dublin Castle and Christ Church Cathedral from the outside.
The tour begins at Wellington Quay, in Temple Bar, Dublin's cultural and creative hub. As you walk its cobbled streets, lined with historic pubs, music venues and street art, the local guide shares Irish legends, literary stories and tales of everyday life in the city. The next stop is the Molly Malone statue, next to the old St Andrew's Church, to hear the story of Ireland's most famous fishmonger.
The walk continues to Trinity College Dublin, seen from the outside, and passes Parliament House, Dame Street and City Hall on the way to Dublin Castle, where the guide explains its evolution from medieval fortress to the seat of British rule.
The route continues to Wood Quay, the archaeological site linked to the city's Viking past, and ends with the exteriors of Christ Church Cathedral, with a photo stop, and St Patrick's Cathedral, where the guide covers Dublin's religious history and Gothic architecture. The tour takes place entirely outdoors and does not include admission to any attraction.
As it is run in small groups, the tour makes it easy to follow the guide's explanations and ask questions along the way.
