This excursion to Sierra Nevada and the Costa Tropical from Granada is the perfect opportunity to experience the extraordinary geographical diversity of Andalusia, combining high mountains and the sea in a single day. The adventure begins by heading towards Pradollano, the heart of the Sierra Nevada ski resort. After a historical and cultural introduction by our guide, you can choose between a scenic stroll through the village or taking the cable car up to the Borreguiles area to touch the snow and enjoy the views from the slopes.
After enjoying free time in the peaks, we will descend towards the Granada coastline to discover Salobreña, one of the jewels of the Costa Tropical. This town stands out for its iconic profile of white houses crowned by a Moorish castle. We will take a guided tour to learn the secrets of its historic center and the strategic importance this enclave has held throughout the centuries.
The afternoon on the coast offers total flexibility for each traveler to enjoy at their own pace. ● The cable car ride is not included in the tour price, but the guide will explain its full operation. The cable car departs from Pradollano and operates continuously, not on fixed schedules. The journey takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Once at the top, we can enjoy the views and the atmosphere of the ski slopes area before heading back down. Customers who decide to go up receive clear instructions on where to buy the ticket, how to access the cable car, and how to make the descent. From Borreguiles, you can see the ski slopes and the high-mountain environment. This is not a sports activity during this excursion; it is simply a panoramic visit to enjoy the high-mountain landscape. If you have gone up to Borreguiles, you can stay there to enjoy the resort's atmosphere and come down to the meeting point to catch the bus at 1:00 PM, or return to Pradollano.
