Full description Explore the UNESCO-listed Škocjan Caves and the stunning coastal town of Piran on a guided tour from Ljubljana. Features Karst prosciutto and wine tasting, a visit to the Lipica stud farm, and a photo stop at the iconic Predjama Castle.

Discover the breathtaking diversity of the Karst region and the Adriatic coast on a journey that blends UNESCO world heritage with Mediterranean charm. We begin at the Škocjan Caves, one of the most spectacular underground sites in Europe, featuring a massive canyon carved by the Reka River 200 meters below ground. After exploring this subterranean marvel, we will visit a local tavern to sample the world-renowned Karst air-dried prosciutto paired with the unique Teran wine, a local specialty found only in this region.

The trip continues to Lipica, the historic homeland of the noble white Lipizzaner horses, legendary stars of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. We then head towards the coastline, passing through the towns of Koper, ...

● Please present yourself at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time
● Tour is available during the summer season only
● A jacket or sweater is advisable, since the temperatures in the cave are around 12°C
● Since there is a moderate amount of walking (including about 400 stairs in the cave), we suggest wearing comfortable shoes
● The tour requires a minimum of 2 people to operate and has a maximum limit of 8 participants
● The guide is English-speaking; inside Postojna Cave, the audio guide is available in several languages
