Day 1 (Friday) MADRID – SALAMANCA – VIGO (630 km)
Departure from our terminal at 08:00 a.m. towards Salamanca, an ancient and monumental university city. Free time to stroll through the old town and see its celebrated Baroque Plaza Mayor. Continue to Vigo. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 (Saturday) VIGO – VIANA DO CASTELO – BRAGA – PORTO (220 km)
Breakfast. Crossing into Portugal, we reach Viana do Castelo, located between the estuary of the Miño River and Porto. Free time to explore the old town with cobbled streets and heraldic buildings. Continue to Braga, known as the city of archbishops and the third most populated city in Portugal. Free time. Departure to Porto. Accommodation.
Day 3 (Sunday) PORTO
Breakfast. Panoramic visit of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage city, including the cathedral, the Stock Exchange, and Santa Clara Church, ending at a local cellar where we'll taste its world-famous “Port wine.” Rest of the time free. Accommodation.
Day 4 (Monday) PORTO – COIMBRA (120 km)
Breakfast. Departure to Coimbra, home to one of Europe’s oldest universities and cradle of Fado. Lunch. Free time. Accommodation.
Day 5 (Tuesday) COIMBRA – FÁTIMA – LISBON (222 km)
Breakfast and departure to Fátima, an important pilgrimage center. Free time to visit the Basilica, then continue to Lisbon, capital of Portugal. Accommodation. In the evening, optional visit to a Fado show with typical Portuguese music and songs.
Day 6 (Wednesday) LISBON
Accommodation and breakfast. Morning panoramic tour of this beautiful city, located at the mouth of the Tagus River: Park Viewpoint, Eduardo VII Square, Rossio Square, Avenida da Liberdade, Madragoa district (birthplace of Fado). Then to Belém district to see the famous Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, and Jerónimos Monastery. Free afternoon. We recommend an optional excursion to Sintra, Cascais, Estoril.
Day 7 (Thursday) LISBON – CÁCERES – MADRID (613 km)
Breakfast. Departure to the Spanish border and arrival in Cáceres. Free time to visit its Plaza Mayor and medieval old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free lunch. Continue journey to Madrid. Arrival and end of services.
