Located about 18 kilometres from the capital, we will explore the three main pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. Our expert guide in Egyptian history will share all the details about their construction, history and the purpose of these magnificent works of ancient art.
We will continue our visit with the imposing Great Sphinx of Giza, what mystery does this majestic sphinx hold? Following this path, we will explore the Valley Temple, the place where the purification of the mummified king took place.
Back in Cairo, we will continue our guided experience. We will venture into the city's main souk, exploring the bustling Khan Al-Khalili Market and marvelling at the colourful stalls of traders offering spices, leather goods and jewellery - you can even put your haggling skills to the test with the vendors!
Before continuing our guided tour of Cairo, we will stop for a typical lunch in the heart of the city.
To conclude, we will explore the Egyptian Museum to admire, among other relics, the famous funerary mask of Tutankhamun, discovered in 1922. At the end of the afternoon, we will return to your hotels.
