This walking tour guides you through "Fiorenza," a labyrinth of towers, churches, and narrow streets. You will trace the poet's footsteps from his presumed birthplace to the spot where he first met Beatrice. It's a deep dive not only into the city's history but also into the context of his masterpiece, The Divine Comedy.

During the tour, you'll relive the struggle between Guelphs and Ghibellines as you walk through the Dante's District, Piazza del Duomo, and Ponte Vecchio. Then, you'll visit Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, which preserves Dante's funerary mask. The tour concludes before his majestic statue in Santa Croce, allowing you to understand how Dante's tumultuous life and exile shaped his literary genius and the city's identity.
