● The ideal season runs from October to March (temperatures between 10 and 24°C / 50–75°F); November to February offers optimal conditions for sunrise at the Taj Mahal, whereas temperatures from April to June can exceed 44°C / 111°F (the tour operates year-round with adapted recommendations)
● Wearing flat, comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on marble, sandstone, and cobblestones is essential; bringing thin socks is advised for walking barefoot on the main platform of the Taj Mahal
● Carrying cash in Indian Rupees (INR) for monument entry fees (approx. 2,000 to 3,000 INR daily per person) is required, as credit cards are often unreliable at ticket counters
● The 6-day itinerary offers three distinct perspectives of the Taj Mahal: sunset views from Mehtab Bagh gardens (Day 3), the iconic sunrise visit (Day 4), and a riverfront panorama from the Musamman Burj tower inside Agra Fort (where Shah Jahan once gazed upon the monument)
