Full description The experience begins at the top of Passeig de Gràcia, before embarking on a journey to discover the natural splendor of Montserrat, Catalonia's most iconic mountain, crowned by a Benedictine monastery. Montserrat is an ideal excursion for a fun day in nature, just a few kilometers from Barcelona.

See the fascinating flora and fauna of the area. On the way to the Monastery, admire the Montserrat Massif, a spectacular multi-peaked rocky mountain range filled with unique needle-like formations. Upon arrival, visit the Monastery, founded in the 10th century and still operating today, with more than 70 monks. It is also known for housing the figure of La Moreneta (optional visit not included in the base price), patron saint of Catalonia.

Your guide will bring history to life by explaining the history and activities of this nearly thousand-year-old Monastery. A bus will take you to the Masia, where you'll enjoy a delicious farm-to-table lunch with a delicious two-course menu: salad for a starter, barbecue combination (vegetarian and halal) for a main course, and dessert, all with stunning views. In August, the restaurant won't be the usual one, but you'll still be able to appreciate the views of Montserrat.
