You will take part in a Spanish-language excursion through Hoi An that combines historical heritage, traditional navigation, and a handicraft experience, discovering the city at a calm and well-organized pace. The experience will begin with pick-up from your accommodation and transfer to the Old Town, where you will immerse yourself in the essence of one of the most emblematic cities in central Vietnam.
During the morning, you will explore on foot some of the most representative places in the historic center, starting with Hoi An Central Market and continuing to the Japanese Covered Bridge. As you move forward, you will visit the Sa Huynh Museum, Tan Ky House, the Phouc Kien Assembly Hall, and the Tran Family Chapel, understanding how the city’s commercial and cultural history is reflected in its architecture and traditional spaces.
Afterwards, you will take a boat ride along the Thu Bon River aboard a traditional Vietnamese vessel, observing the city from the water and appreciating the everyday atmosphere of the riverside surroundings. Next, you will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, with typical dishes from Quang Nam province, and you will have the possibility to request an alternative menu if you are vegetarian or vegan.
In the afternoon, you will visit a traditional lantern workshop, where you will learn the making process and create your own lantern by hand, which you may take home as a souvenir. If you wish, you may add a bicycle route through the rice fields of Hoi An to explore more traditional neighborhoods and complete the day with a more rural view of the destination before returning to your hotel.
