This private Louvre tour is led by a guide dedicated exclusively to your group, who adapts the pace, route and explanations to your interests. The meeting point is in front of the Pyramide du Louvre, where the experience begins with an introduction to the museum before entering with a timed entry ticket.
After the security check, the route enters through the Denon wing and explains how the former royal palace became a museum. From there, the visit can focus on the collections your group finds most interesting, such as Egyptian antiquities, Dutch painting or Islamic art. Works usually included are the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the Sleeping Hermaphroditus and Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, along with the story of its theft in 1911.
The visit continues through the Grande Galerie and its monumental French paintings, such as Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People and David's Coronation of Napoleon, and ends in the Galerie Michel-Ange of the Denon wing, in front of Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss.
