We begin this tour with a visit to the Miraflores Visitor Center
of the Panama Canal, where you will be able to appreciate different exhibits that
show its operation, history and importance.
Then we will visit the Old Town, declared a World Heritage Site by the
UNESCO in 1997; site where the new city of Panama was founded, after
the destruction of Panama la Vieja in 1671.
This beautiful city representative of Spanish colonialism houses
17th century buildings that have been restored and are now hotels,
restaurants, bars, small shops and expensive residences.
Among its attractions we can appreciate the Golden Altar in the Church of San
José, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the Canal Museum
Interoceanic, among others
