Welcome to the exciting full-day Bosphorus Tour with lunch included! During this unforgettable experience, we will explore the wonders of Istanbul, from the iconic Egyptian Bazaar to a relaxing cruise along the Bosphorus Strait, separating Europe and Asia. In addition, we will visit a leather goods workshop, the charming old neighborhoods of Fener (the Greek district) and Balat (the Jewish district) on the shores of the Golden Horn, the Greek Patriarchate of Fener, and the beautiful 16th-century Rüstem Paşa Mosque.
We will start our day at the Egyptian Bazaar, also known as the Spice Bazaar, where the colors and aromas of spices, herbs, and local delights will fill our senses. You will have time to explore and enjoy some shopping before we move on to the next destination.
After our visit to the market, we will head to the port and embark on a cruise along the majestic Bosphorus Strait. On board the boat, we will enjoy stunning views of historical palaces, mosques, and mansions along the Bosphorus shores. Our guide will share interesting insights into the history and cultural significance of this waterway that connects two continents.
Upon returning to dry land, we will visit a leather goods workshop, where you can appreciate local craftsmanship and, if you wish, purchase high-quality leather products.
We will continue our day by exploring the old neighborhoods of Fener and Balat, which have a rich history and cultural diversity. Here, you will learn about the lives of the Greek and Jewish communities that have left their mark on Istanbul over the centuries. We will also visit the Greek Patriarchate of Fener, an important religious site for the Greek Orthodox community.
Our final stop will be the Rüstem Paşa Mosque, a 16th-century architectural gem known for its stunning Iznik ceramic tiles adorning its interior.
