You will take a morning gastronomic tour in Aix-en-Provence, ideal for discovering the city’s culinary identity through local flavours and a guided walk through its historic centre. This itinerary will offer a clear and accessible introduction to Provençal cuisine in a relaxed urban setting.
At the beginning of the tour, you will meet your guide in front of the Tourist Office to begin a walking tour through the streets of Aix. Throughout the itinerary, you will stop at selected shops and stalls where you will be able to sample more than four local specialties, including calisson, tapenade, wine and cheese, depending on availability.
During the visit, your local guide will explain the essential elements of Provençal gastronomy and its connection to the region’s history and culture.
