The Bird Park, located in the heart of the Brazilian rainforest, offers a unique experience to discover the diversity of birds and the richness of local flora. Its 16 hectares of secondary forest are divided between preservation areas and visitor zones, connected by marked walkways that allow guests to explore the park’s different ecosystems.
Along the route, visitors can explore large aviaries measuring 630 m² and 8 meters high, adorned with waterfalls, bridges, and lush vegetation, where the behavior of various bird species can be observed up close. Smaller aviaries feature species from Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Africa, as well as a dedicated space for butterflies and hummingbirds from the region.
The park also includes natural habitats for caimans and other reptiles, and along the trail it is possible to see a Jibóia snake up close, showcasing the incredible biodiversity of the area. At the end of the visit, guests can enjoy a restaurant with an exclusive view of the Flamingo Lake, perfect for relaxing after the tour.
With over 900 birds from 150 species, many native to Brazil and a third considered endangered, Bird Park ensures a safe and educational wildlife experience. All birds come from zoos, authorized breeding centers, and rehabilitation facilities, registered according to the Brazilian Zoo Society and IBAMA. The park features a souvenir shop, restrooms, and a snack bar, making it an ideal destination for the whole family.
