Located on the Ligurian coast in northwestern Italy, Cinque Terre is made up of five ancient villages built on a rugged landscape overlooking the sea. Its pastel-colored houses, terraced vineyards, and olive groves create one of Europe’s most recognizable panoramas, inviting you to explore the destination at a relaxed pace and enjoy its local atmosphere.
The experience will include a visit to Manarola, one of the most picturesque villages in Cinque Terre. Built on a rocky promontory, this place is characterized by its tall, colorful houses, small harbor, and narrow streets. There, you will have time to stroll, discover local flavors, and admire the Church of San Lorenzo, which dates back to the 13th century.
The tour will continue toward Monterosso al Mare, the largest village in Cinque Terre. During your visit, you will be able to discover the character of its historic center, see remains of ancient medieval fortifications, or enjoy a walk by the sea. From the coastal area, you will also be able to admire the well-known Statue of Neptune, a representative figure of the local maritime landscape.
One of the highlights of the day will be the panoramic boat ride along the coast, allowing you to appreciate Cinque Terre from a different perspective. From the sea, you will be able to see cliffs, hidden coves, and villages suspended above the water. The experience will end with the arrival in La Spezia, the gateway to Cinque Terre, before returning comfortably to Milan.
