● It is the responsibility of all visitors to arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Passengers arriving after departure will not be able to join the tour, and missed tours or tickets are non-refundable
● Our coordinators will wear blue polo shirts or jackets so they can be easily recognized at the meeting point
● This tour requires a minimum of 4 people to operate. If the minimum is not reached, a refund or alternative dates will be offered
● The Colosseum is one of the most popular tourist destinations and, on occasion, delays may occur due to increased security measures or unexpectedly high visitor numbers during holidays and celebrations. As always, your guide will do their best to minimize delays and facilitate access as quickly as possible
● Colosseum tickets are nominative and non-transferable. The first and last name entered in the booking must exactly match the document presented on the day of the visit (ID card or passport). In case of discrepancy, access may be denied by the monument and the booking cancelled without refund
● All passengers must present valid documentation on the day of the tour
● It is mandatory to correctly complete the details of all passengers: full first name(s) and surname(s), date of birth, and nationality. The details entered in the booking cannot be edited; name or data changes are not allowed once the booking is closed. A cancellation and new booking will be required, subject to availability
● The date of birth is necessary to correctly identify adult, child, and infant categories. Nationality is especially required for special fares for European Union citizens aged between 18 and 25, when applicable
● All passengers, including children and infants (even if traveling free of charge), must be included in the booking and present valid documentation on the day of the visit. Children must always be accompanied by at least one adult
● Access to the Colosseum is subject to mandatory security checks with metal detectors. Although groups have access through a dedicated line, waiting times may vary depending on the season and visitor numbers
● For security reasons, drones, large backpacks, suitcases or wheeled luggage, sharp objects, weapons, glass bottles, alcoholic beverages, aerosols, and trekking poles are not allowed. Only small bags or backpacks are permitted. The Colosseum does not provide cloakroom or luggage storage services
● The itinerary and tour route may be modified according to daily operations or monument regulations
● Important: official tickets are not issued at the time of booking and depend directly on the availability and allocation of the Colosseum. For this reason, the monument may modify entry times, access points, or routes when issuing the tickets. If it is not possible to confirm the visit on the selected date or time, an available alternative will be offered
● Since the Colosseum Night Tour at 7:30 pm or later includes Underground tickets, which must be purchased using the full name of each passenger and cannot be modified or cancelled, no refund will be granted for tour cancellations once the tickets have been purchased in the passengers’ names
● Tips for guides providing excellent service are appreciated
● This tour involves a considerable amount of walking, hills, and stairs; comfortable footwear is recommended
● We regret that we are unable to accommodate wheelchair users or guests requiring special assistance. We are also unable to accommodate strollers on our group tours
● Some of the sites visited lack shade and may be hot under direct sunlight. During warm weather, we recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and a bottle of water
● Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
● On this tour, some sites or parts of sites may be subject to last-minute and unpredictable closures. Should this occur, guests will be offered an extended tour in keeping with the advertised total tour length

Please note: The meeting point is not at the Colosseum. The tour commences on the platform directly in front of Trajan’s Column. Trajan’s Column (~30 m high with engravings) is located on Via dei Fori Imperiali next to Piazza Venezia. When standing right in front and facing the Victor Emmanuel II Monument (a.k.a. the “Wedding Cake), it’s directly to the left across the street.
