● Non-professional cameras are allowed at the Ek Balam archaeological site. However, an additional fee is required for video cameras, GoPros, tablets, and selfie sticks. The use of professional photography equipment is prohibited. Devices are not allowed inside the cenote
● Ek Balam is one of the few archaeological sites where visitors are still allowed to climb the main pyramid (the Acropolis), offering a truly unique and exciting experience. Upon reaching the top, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the jungle. The ancient city features steep stairs and irregular paths, which can be challenging, so a certain level of physical fitness is required
