A full-day excursion through the heart of Scotland, taking in charming villages, a whisky distillery, waterfalls and viewpoints on the way to the historic William Wallace Monument.
This excursion takes in some of the most beautiful and historic landscapes in the heart of Scotland. The first stop is Dunkeld, a village on the banks of the River Tay known for its Cathedral, which blends medieval architecture with an exceptional natural setting. From there, the route continues into the Hermitage Forest, a pine forest with trails leading to the Black Linn waterfall.
The route continues to Pitlochry, a picturesque Scottish town where you'll visit the Blair Athol Distillery to learn about the whisky-making process and enjoy a tasting. From there you'll reach Queen's View, a viewpoint overlooking Loch Tummel and the surrounding mountains.
The route continues to the village of Killin, where you can admire the Falls of Dochart, before arriving in Stirling to see the William Wallace Monument, dedicated to Scotland's national hero. The excursion closes with a stop at The Kelpies, two 30-metre horse sculptures that pay tribute to Scotland's equine legacy.
