Discover the stunning landscapes and crystal-clear waters of Crete's west coast on a semi-private excursion from Chania to the beaches of Elafonisi and Falasarna.
Your experience begins with pick-up from your accommodation, provided it is located within a 10 km radius of central Chania. Accompanied by a Spanish-speaking guide, you will travel west across the island through the White Mountains and the spectacular Topolia Gorge.
After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, you will arrive at Elafonisi, one of Crete's most famous beaches. Its shallow waters, pale sand and natural lagoons create a unique landscape facing the small island of Elafonisi, also known as Deer Island.
You will enjoy approximately four hours of free time to relax on the beach, swim or walk through the shallow waters to the islet. You may also explore part of the E4 coastal trail, which follows the shoreline past small coves and continues towards Kedrodasos, a beautiful beach surrounded by juniper trees.
Afterwards, you will continue along the west coast. If the group wishes, there will be an optional stop to enjoy lunch at your own expense in a traditional local taverna and sample some of the flavours of Cretan cuisine.
The final stop will be Falasarna, one of the most spectacular beaches on Crete's west coast, renowned for its long stretches of golden sand and crystal-clear waters. You will have free time to stroll along the beach, swim or relax at one of its cafés or tavernas before returning to Chania.
