Experience an exceptional day in the heart of France's picturesque Loire Valley as you immerse yourself in the history and grandeur of three of the Loire's most impressive châteaux: Chenonceau, Chambord and Cheverny, all accompanied by detailed commentary provided by our audio guide.
Your exciting day begins with a comfortable, air-conditioned coach journey to Chambord. As you approach the château, you will be struck by the majesty of its imposing architecture that towers before you. This magnificent building stands out as the largest castle in the Loire Valley. Once there, you will enjoy priority access to the interior, allowing you to explore several of its rooms. You will also have the opportunity to climb the famous "staircase of double revolution", which will lead you to a large panoramic terrace. From this point, you will be able to take in a breathtaking view of the surrounding park while absorbing the commentary on the history of this castle, whose construction was carried out during the reign of Francis I, with the collaboration of the renowned Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century.
The experience continues with an exploration of Chenonceau. As you immerse yourself in the magnificent landscapes of the Loire Valley, your gaze will be lost in the vast fields stretching to the horizon. As you travel along the Loire River, a unique serenity will invade you, enveloping you in a magical atmosphere. Then, a tree-lined path will lead you to a breathtaking panoramic view of the Château de Chenonceau. The building seems to emerge from the surrounding water, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere that is accentuated by the exterior surroundings. A one-hour guided tour will immerse you in the richly decorated and flowery rooms of the château, where you can admire tapestries and period paintings. During this tour, you will discover a wealth of stories and anecdotes that reveal the importance of the female presence that left its mark on the French art of living.
After your exploration of Chenonceau, you will have some free time to stroll through the stunning gardens along the Cher River and enjoy a meal around the château. Our guide will provide you with suggestions on where to eat. Afterwards, we will meet at the coach parking area for the journey to Cheverny.
In Cheverny, you will explore an ancestral mansion inhabited by the same family for more than six centuries. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the interior spaces of the château, which are remarkably well equipped. As you explore the exterior of the château, six themed gardens await you, including the enchanting "Jardin Sucré" and, in a unique touch, you will see the château's kennel, known for its connection to hunting with dogs and for housing a hundred canines.
The day will come to an end with the departure of the coach at around 5pm, heading for Paris, with an estimated arrival at around 8pm. A day full of history, majesty and beauty awaits you in this unique experience in the Loire Valley.
