The journey begins with a scenic drive from Naples to Pompeii, where an expert guide leads the exploration of the ancient city, stepping through Porta Marina and reaching the Forum, Pompeii's political and commercial hub. The route continues along Via dell'Abbondanza, lined with shops and original chariot tracks, and through the Theater District, where Romans once enjoyed plays and concerts.
The itinerary includes the well-preserved bath complex, the intriguing Lupanare with its vivid frescoes, and a Thermopolium, an ancient street food shop. You'll also visit the House of the Faun, one of the largest and most luxurious villas, home to the iconic Alexander Mosaic, and the Macellum, the bustling ancient market, ending with a moving look at the plaster casts of Pompeii's residents.
