You will discover three of the most charming towns in Apulia on a full-day excursion designed to explore at your own pace. This tour will allow you to visit Polignano a Mare, Ostuni and Locorotondo, combining coastal landscapes, historic centers and local traditions in a flexible and well-organized experience departing from Bari.
At the start of the day, you will travel to Polignano a Mare through the Apulian countryside, enjoying the scenery along the way. During the journey, a coordinating guide will provide informative material with details and useful tips for each stop, as well as recommend downloading an audio guide application via a QR code to use during the visits. Upon arrival, you will have approximately two hours to explore the historic center, walk through its streets, admire the cliffs overlooking the Adriatic Sea, visit its beaches and stop at iconic spots such as Piazza Vittorio Emanuele or the Grotta Palazzese area.
The excursion will continue to Ostuni, known as the “White City”, on a journey of approximately one hour. Once there, you will have free time to discover its whitewashed houses, sloping alleys and panoramic views. You may visit Ostuni Cathedral, explore artisan workshops or enjoy a break on one of its terraces. This time will also be ideal for having lunch on your own and tasting local cuisine, always supported by the practical recommendations provided earlier.
The final stop will be Locorotondo, about 40 minutes from Ostuni, a town known for its circular layout, white houses adorned with flowers and peaceful atmosphere. You will have time to stroll through the historic center, observe the trulli, visit artisan workshops or, optionally, visit a local winery to learn about the DOC Locorotondo wine. After this visit, you will return to Bari, concluding a day that offers freedom to explore, constant organizational support and digital tools that facilitate the independent discovery of three gems of southern Italy.
