Discover Essaouira, known as the Pearl of the Atlantic, on a full-day excursion from Marrakech combining history, culture and stunning coastal scenery.
The experience begins with pick-up from your accommodation or the selected meeting point before travelling towards Morocco's Atlantic coast through the beautiful rural landscapes of western Morocco.
Along the way, you will stop to observe, weather and conditions permitting, the famous goats climbing the argan trees, a unique sight typical of the region. You will then visit a traditional women's cooperative to learn about the production of argan oil and discover its many uses and products.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, you will enjoy free time to explore the city at your own pace. Wander through the UNESCO-listed medina, stroll along its historic streets, browse local markets and artisan workshops, visit the lively fishing harbour and admire the ancient fortifications overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
You will also have time to relax on the beach or enjoy local cuisine at one of the city's restaurants. Those who wish may take part in optional activities such as camel or horse riding, quad biking or surfing.
At the end of your visit, you will return to Marrakech, making the necessary stops along the way. Arrival is scheduled for approximately 7:00 pm, bringing to an end a wonderful day discovering one of Morocco's most charming coastal destinations.
