Full description
The tour begins in Tokyo’s upscale district of Ginza, a stylish neighborhood renowned for its luxury boutiques, cutting-edge architecture, and refined atmosphere. From there, the route continues to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks: the famous Shibuya Crossing. Without leaving the bus, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of this bustling intersection, a vivid symbol of Tokyo’s energy and fast-paced urban life.
Next, the tour stops at the Meiji Shrine, a peaceful sanctuary nestled within a dense forest in the heart of the city. Dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken, this site offers a unique insight into Japan’s cultural and spiritual heritage, combining serenity with historical significance.
The journey proceeds through the vibrant Shinjuku district, seen from the bus. Towering skyscrapers, flashing neon signs, and dynamic architecture provide a striking contrast to the tranquility of the shrine, showcasing the diversity and rhythm of life in Tokyo.
The following stop is outside the Imperial Palace, the official residence of Japan’s Imperial Family. Although entry to the palace grounds is not included, there is ample time to take photos and admire the surrounding gardens and scenic views.
The next highlight is Hamarikyu Gardens, a historic Japanese garden near Tokyo Bay. This beautifully preserved space combines natural elements with elegant design, featuring ponds, traditional teahouses, and walking paths that offer a quiet escape from the city’s energy.
The tour continues with a panoramic drive through Akihabara, Tokyo’s famous “Electric Town.” Known as the hub for anime, gaming, and tech culture, this neighborhood is a visual spectacle filled with colorful storefronts and electronic shops.
Later, we arrive in Asakusa, one of the most traditional areas of the city and home to the historic Senso-ji Temple. Surrounding the temple is a charming shopping street lined with stalls offering souvenirs, local snacks, and traditional goods. Guests who selected the lunch option will enjoy a local meal at a nearby restaurant, while others can use their free time to explore and dine independently.
The final stop is the Tokyo Skytree, Japan’s tallest tower and an architectural marvel.
