Immerse yourself in a unique and authentic experience by visiting a family husky farm during the beautiful autumn season. This excursion offers a complete immersion into the daily life of these incredible Arctic animals, guided by their owner, a champion of dog sledding competitions.
The adventure begins with morning pick-up from your accommodation (within a 15 km radius from Rovaniemi city center). Once at the farm, the owner and their assistants will guide you on a relaxing 2-kilometer walk through the forest, accompanied by some of their huskies. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy nature while learning about the life, care, and training of these dogs, who have returned from the south to prepare for the sledding season. Halfway through the walk, a fire will be lit where you can enjoy coffee, tea, or hot chocolate while the dogs have their well-deserved snack. After the walk, you'll have time to meet and play with the rest of the huskies on the farm before being driven back to your accommodation. (An unforgettable experience for nature and animal lovers).
